South Downtown, a historic retail district that developers are currently revitalizing, is expected to act as a hub for Spanish soccer fans visiting Atlanta for the FIFA World Cup.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation has confirmed the creation of "Casa España" in Atlanta during the World Cup. The federation listed the address of its "Casa España" in Atlanta as the corner of Mitchell Street SW and Forsyth Street SW.

Spain will deploy the following in South Downtown Atlanta:

  • Match viewing area, with large-screen broadcasts of Spain's games

  • Trophy exhibition, showcasing the silverware won by the Spanish national team throughout its history

  • Football activation and games area, with interactive experiences and brand activations

  • VIP hospitality lounge, dedicated to institutional guests and corporate delegations

Spain will arrive in Atlanta as the reigning winner of the European Championship, having won that tournament in 2024. It will play its first two World Cup matches at Atlanta Stadium on June 15 against Cape Verde and June 21 against Saudi Arabia.
